2008 Kitchen Helpers ScheduleThank you to everyone that has been a supporter of this ministry. The kitchen volunteer program allows the camp to provide quality food made with loving hands. The camp kitchen is the hub of camp life. A great tasting meal that is appetizing to look at and served with a smile enables campers and staff to focus on Christ and what He is doing here at camp. This ministry is also a blessing because it allows our staff to meet and work with loving, supportive people from the area churches whom they might otherwise never have a chance to meet. Kitchen Helpers are a wonderful blessing. What a difference they make in the atmosphere of camp.No skills are required to be a kitchen helper. A love for kids and a willingness to serve is all it takes to make a mundane meal into a feast. Kitchen helpers work alongside our full-time head cook as well as two assistant cooks. Tasks might include:preparing for and cleaning up after meals, preparation of food and baked items, serving the food, fellowshipping with other Christians, sitting in on a daily devotion, sharing stories, telling jokes, and having a good time. We encourage volunteers to stick around in the afternoon to swim and hang out with campers. We would love to have you join us for an evening chapel service as well! HIGH HILL CHRISTIAN CAMP

ARRIVAL TIMES: 9:00 a.m. IF YOU ARE HELPING ALL DAY OR NOON MEAL ONLY
4:00 p.m. IF YOU ARE HELPING WITH EVENING MEAL ONLY
NUMBER OF HELPERS: 3-5 ADULTS PER MEAL
IF YOU HAVE A DATE CONFLICT ON YOUR ASSIGNED DAY,
CONTACT ANOTHER CHURCH AND SWITCH WITH THEM.
THEN NOTIFY THE CAMP OFFICE OF THE CHANGE. THANKS!
